BTCC Donington 1: Shedden wins in the wet

Rain-lashed Donington Park had the kind of weather we’re more used to seeing at Knockhill. So it was fitting that Dunfermline native Gordon Shedden triumphed in terrible weather in the first race.

IRL Nashville: Two in a row for Dixon

Scott Dixon won his second consecutive race of 2007 - and once again it was championship leader Dario Franchitti who followed him across the line.
The rain-delayed race suffered a brief interruption due to further rain but it was a largely incident-free event.

British F3 Brands Hatch 2: Narrow win for Hohenthal

Sebastian Hohenthal took a close win in the second race at Brands Hatch, chased home by Atte Mustonen and Marko Asmer. The podium finishers were covered by one second at the line.
Both Asmer and Mustonen made efforts to pass Hohenthal but the Swede kept his cool.

British F3 Brands Hatch 1: Asmer again

Marko Asmer’s domination of the 2007 British F3 championship continued with his seventh win in 11 races.
He beat Raikkonen-Robertson team mates Stephen Jelley and Jonathan Kennard by over eight seconds - last year’s champions still looking for their first win this year.
Asmer now leads Maro Engel by 70 points in the championship.

F3 Euro Mugello 2: Mailleux edges out Grosjean

Franck Mailleux took his first win the the F3 Euroseries in the second race at Mugello, with race one winner Romain Grosjean battling through to second.
A first lap incident eliminated James Jakes, Michael Patrizi, Filip Salaquarda and Basil Shaaban. It also saw Dani Clos jump into the lead and hold off a string of cars [...]

DTM Mugello: Hakkinen wins from 15th

Mika Hakkinen took his second DTM victory of the year - but this time there’ll be no question of him being given half-points as he was at the Lausitzring.
In fact he probably deserve double points after cunning strategy propelled him into a lead which he narrowly held over Mattias Ekstrom in the dying stages.

F3 Euro Mugello 1: Grosjean moves ahead

Romain Grosjean jumped into the championship lead with a dominant win at Mugello.
Team mate Kamui Kobayashi held Sebastien Buemi off for second, while Buemi defended from Magny-Cours winner James Jakes.

IRL Watkins Glen: Dixon’s hat trick

Scott Dixon completed a hat-trick of IRL victories at Watkins Glen with a measured and tactically shrewd drive.
But there were unpleasant scenes after the race as a confrontation between Tony Kanaan and Sam Hornish sparked a pit lane brawl.
It began after the pair twice made contact during the race.

WTCC Porto 2: Priaulx back in the hunt

Andy Priaulx underlined his street racing credentials with an emphatic win in the second race at Porto.
He moved into first after pressuring Jorg Muller into a mistake and pulled out a substantial lead after a safety car period to win.

Champ Car Toronto: Title leaders clash as Power wins

Championship leaders Sebastien Bourdais and Robert Doornbos clashed once again on the streets of Toronto - but this time with even more dramatic results than their run-in at Mont Tremblant.
Doornbos thumped Bourdais into the barriers late in the race but escaped to score vital championship points.
